The 36th Annual Galway Arts Festival will take place from the 15-18th of July 2013!
Galway Arts Festival is Ireland's largest international arts festival. Founded in 1978 it has grown into an event with a significant reputation where, in 2012, there were 163,548 attendances at 160 performances, talks and exhibitions in 27 venues over 14 days. The Festival showcases a wide variety of international artists alongside the best of Irish talent and includes music (popular, contemporary, jazz, world, classical and traditional), theatre (indoor and outdoor), visual arts, dance, talks, discussions, family events and comedy in its programme.
It is one of the key highlights of the summer Season in Ireland and Galway comes alive for these 2 weeks- unmissable!

Rite of Sprint & Petruska :July 15th in the Black Box Theatre, for what promises to be an extravaganza of world-class dance theatre courtesy of the renowned choreographer Michael Keegan-Dolan and the Irish-based dance company Fabulous Beast.
This will be the Irish premier for Stravinsky's masterpiece The Rite of Spring. Keegan-Dolan's radical reinterpretation of the work has won rave reviews. With the addition of Petrushka, fans of dance and of arts performance in general will be in for an forgettable evening
