Galway City Marathon, 28th - 29th August 2010
The year 2010 is a truly special year for running enthusiasts because it is the 2500 year anniversary of the legend of the Marathon. And there is no better place to celebrate the Marathon than the Galway City Marathon if you want an amazing weekend of running, partying and fun in Ireland's favourite holiday destination.
The Galway City Marathon weekend will encompass eight different mile races on 28 August, commencing at 18:45. There will also be a marathon, half marathon, relay and 50km event on 29 August, commencing at 09:00. www.galwaycitymarathon.com
