Spring Menus and City Dining at the Gaslight Bar & Brasserie

As Summer soon draws to a close, our chefs have updated our menus for the Autumn season ahead at the city centre Gaslight Bar & Brasserie. With airy high ceilings and huge sash windows overlooking bustling Eyre Square, The Gaslight is the perfect dining venue. Open Daily from 10.30 AM with food served from 11am till 10pm
 
The smiling team warmly welcome guests with the renowned hospitality long associated with the iconic Hotel Meyrick. The extra-large tables allow plenty of space for business meetings or quick catch ups with colleagues.

The re-vamped daytime menu is served till 15.30 daily, and is filled with new tasty sandwiches and wraps, a new range of wholesome vegetarian options and delicious new hot dishes if a midday dinner is preferred. From the Light Bites section, try the Cajun Chicken Ceasar Salad, with Pancetta, sourdough croutons, creamy ceaser dressing, topped with parmesan cheese or Panlo and Sesame Crumbed Calamari, pickled Asian salad, chilli & lime mayo. The superfood salad combines roasted butternut squash and kale with quinoa, broccoli, beetroot and toasted sunflower seeds all drizzled with a honey and orange dressing. The free wi-fi is super-fast and matched by the speedy and efficient service which makes lunching at the Gaslight a pleasure.

The Gaslight is bright and fresh. The sun streams through the windows and golden hues burst with spectacular orange as the sun falls across Eyre Square. Evening brings a whole new vibe to the Gaslight Bar & Brasserie.

The barmen are busy mixing creative cocktails, guiding the curious through the extensive gin menu and competently ensuring each and every guest is looked after.

The Evening menu has also been given a seasonal make over. Main-courses include a range of flavours from Baked Fillet of Atlantic Hake, roasted baby potatoes, gubeen chorizo, buttered green beans, braised fennel, lemon vinaigrette to Thai Massaman Chicken curry.Taste the new Irish Beef Cheef slow braised in Guinness, with chice mash & a classic Bourginon sause or the aromatic chickpea falafels with yogurt and coriander dressing. Menu favourites of chargrilled sirloin steak and battered fish and chips are still on the menu with the addition of a new Vegan option- Zucchini Fritters, tomato & basil Salad, Guacamole & chipotle potato wedges.
