Summer Menus and delicious city Dining at the Gaslight Brasserie
With airy high ceilings and huge sash windows overlooking bustling Eyre Square, The Gaslight Brasserie is the perfect dining venue. Breakfast is served daily from 07.00am. With excellent Lunch menus from 12.30 and Dinner Menus from 17.00.
The smiling team warmly welcome guests with the renowned hospitality long associated with the iconic Hotel Meyrick. As you enter our Restaurant, you are greeted with warm white walls and mirrors - enriched with burgundies and teals. This is a luxurious relaxed Dining space.
Our Brasserie Lunch Menu is served from 12.30 till 16.30 daily, and is filled with tempting Starters such as Soy cured Galway Bay Mackerel, with pickled fennel, cucumber, dressed crab, micros greens; Andral Farm Pork Croquettes, with celeriac remoulade, candied hazelnuts; or Pan Fried King Scallops, with pancetta, shimeji mushrooms, celeriac & lamb leaves. Or our Mains such as our Galway Bay Fishermans Pie, organic leaf salad with Garlic crostini; Hereford 6Oz Beef Burger with all the trimmings, or our Pan Seared Fillet of Atlantic Seabass, with fennel and pakchoi.
Lunch also offers a range of wholesome vegetarian options with a Starter of Grilled Halloumi, Quinoa, broccoli, cherry tomato, spinach and romseco Dressing; and a main of Wild Mushroom, Spinach & Ricotta Strudel, srved with chickpea and spinach dahl.
The free wi-fi is super-fast and matched by the speedy and efficient service which makes lunching at the Gaslight a pleasure.
The Gaslight is bright and fresh. The sun streams through the windows and golden hues burst with spectacular orange as the sun falls across Eyre Square. Evening brings a whole new vibe to the Gaslight Bar & Brasserie. The barmen are busy mixing creative cocktails, guiding the curious through our Wines, and extensive gin menu and competently ensuring each and every guest is looked after.
The Evening menu has also been given a seasonal make over. Main-courses include a range of flavours from Irish Hereford Steak, served with shallot tarte titan, baby carrots, artichoke puree & beef jus; Lamp Rump, with charred red pepper coulis, butter broccoli and smoked almonds with lamb jus or our "When the Boat Comes in" Fish of the day Special.
